Butte County Robotics League, Session 1
Thursday, Oct 8, 4:30 to 8 PM in Chico. No experience needed.
Session 1 of the Butte County Robotics League is Thursday, October 8, from 4:30 to 8:00 PM at Marsh Junior High School in Chico.
Help run a robotics league night for elementary and middle school teams competing in RECF Engage. The league meets at a different school for each session, and every session needs volunteers to keep matches moving.
Most roles need no robotics background. We'll train you when you arrive. Our biggest needs are:
- Field Reset
- Scorekeeper Referees
- Queuing
- Judges
How to sign up: Click Register, then pick from the available roles. Each session is a separate sign-up, so register for every date you can help with:
- Session 1: Thursday, October 8, Marsh Junior High School, Chico
- Session 2: Thursday, October 29, Chico Junior High School, Chico
- Session 3: Thursday, November 19, Bidwell Junior High School, Chico

- Only Head Referees and Judge Advisors need a certification. It's free at training.recf.org.
- Judges and Judge Advisors can't be part of a competing team.
